I work in a company which makes interiors for semi-trucks. (Here's the chuckle) When I started with this company, I was placed in a "mold forming" section. I take liquid and pour into mold and clamp it shut.
After 2-4 min, I remove the part..>What is it? A handrest for casino gaming machines...I'm an addicted gambler (Trying to stay away from the games) go figure!! :P

Weirdest thing...I was at a patient's home and needed to call a medical supply store for my patient. So I just cracked open the yellow pages to look up a local store.
The person answered the phone and I said who I was and what I do and what my patient needed.
It happened to be owner of the medical supply store. He said "Oh, you are a therapist, would you like to do some additional work for a side company I have?"
So I thought that was kinda good that somebody wants to hire me, sight unseen.
Talk about good job security
Oh yes, I did meet with the owner of the company and he's got me on an "as needed" list ;)

Unemployed for the most part. Been looking for over a year now. Been a Realtor for 4 years. Screwed myself the last year when I went to New Home Sales. Worst career move for me. I did great in general brokerage. That is why I am in this mess plus with the market right now it's hard to pick my scattered career off the pavement. Also moved to a new state 2 years ago and we haven't recovered since. Made several mistakes. Instead of paying all my debt when I got paid I should have put that money in the bank for a raining day for when the market went south and I didn't have the money to make it through this time. I guess I got through a year of savings and then the inevitable happened. Not quite sure how I am feeling now. Pretty much hopeless.Filed Ch 13- 1/9/09

DH is a fishery biologist - has 18 years in with the same employer and he just turned 42 last week - almost unheard of these days!
I am currently unemployed -was licensed in CA last year as a nail tech - not yet licensed up here. This is a huge career shift for me, as I was in the real estate industry for about 8 years. (9?? not sure anymore). 4 years with a hard money lender who also did in house loan servicing as well as conventional loans. That was an education, I handled everything from loan app to drawing the loan docs, processing the escrow, handled the loan payments and disbursing funds to private lenders, foreclosures, evictions & cash for keys offers, and did the bookkeeping for the REO properties (foreclosed properties). Can you tell it was a small firm? LOL

I am the owner of a small courier service. I lived to high on the hog for too many years, hoping I can make it through this all. It is gonna be rough being on this tight of a budget. I never knew it would cost this much to be debt free, I should have just stuck it out.Entered debt settlement in 2006
Filed bankrupcy in 2008
Stuck with $2,343 payment in 2009
