We will be voting for Romney, not our first choice, our sons are voting for Ron Paul.

Just out of curiousity, what attracts your support for Romney?

We decided a long time ago whoever ends up being the R nominee will get our votes, whether we like him or not. That's how serious we believe our country's situation is. Romney has the best chance of winning against BHO, so that's where our votes will go.

          micky mouse.

here in florida he's leading in all the polls. his economic stimulus plan is tops and is foremost and most promising over all other candidates running from any party affiliation. he's running basically on the Disney format of life's adventures and really is a crowd favorite in most counties state wide.

just ONE comment bout this..BO has the banks in the pocket...the FRONT pocket. no one will win other than him.

i'm not for or against anyone; other than i know people forget all too soon what state the country was in when BO took over. yes, i voted all against him in the last elections and now i'm one sorry person that allowed those that i voted for and entrusted our country to, ending up holding this country hostage and almost cause us to go bankrupt because of the debt ceiling which should have no politician plate at that dinner table. i was disgusted and felt fooled and cheated.

fact is, when BO took over and helped the banks that was it for me i was so done...now i'm thinking ok let's say he let the banks go to hell. the entire world economy would have blown up. we are too self centered to realize all the repercussions of that strategy whether we agree with it or not. BO was left with the biggest mess this country has ever been in. am i happy about how he's handle it NO...but who put us there???

Romey???? what and he will be the one getting us out of it when he's against taxing the most wealthy in this country, which at a minimum, should just pay their "fair" share. i'm tired of holding up the rich on on my back bone...my back is broken and the rich are getting richer and how is that? from US....we keep on giving them money.

and now let's take away medicare...the big "entitlement" entitlement my BUTT.....we have collectively in this house worked over 90 years and i paid in enough ten times over for what my "entitlement" is suppose to be. nope, i paid for it, only rich are apparently entitled, entitled to not have to pay their fair share. and when the old get so sick we can't take care of them, and the poor are begging on the streets for food (which is already happening today) and the Republicans make certain they get their pay raises and their perks...(and by the way I AM A Republican) but i vote the issue and the man/woman not the party.

we simply can't blame ONE man on the state of this country...nor expect ONE man to cure it's woes. remember it takes a village to raise a child, so at the least one should think it takes a nation to build a strong country. (and that's all i ever have to say publicly on the issue ) then end.

I hear ya, agree with alot you say. Yes, our country is in dire straits and yes, it will take a long time to undue the damage. Our fear is BHO getting another term to finish us all off. Seriously.

I still like Ron Paul, but always felt he has no chance. The Ron Paul supporters have to realize that there is no way a president can turn back the clock and bring the USA back to the pre FDR-New Deal and pre LBJ-Great Society times. He can also never abolish the Fed. He just doesn't have the power to do this.

The same goes for those that do not like Ron Paul that think if he gets elected he will abolish your beloved big government programs. Even if he was to get elected no one in Congress would support him on these issues no matter how right it maybe it will never happen.

                      Does it really matter? Robama?

What has or would either of them do to help you? Tax the "rich"? Still laughing about that one.

I think that a second Obama term would be amusing. In the first, he has not hidden his contempt for America and our system of (corrupt) government. Perhaps in the second term, he could go ahead and break it.

And.... Obama will win, regardless of who you vote for.

that's exactly correct. it really doesn't matter who's running, he will win. frogger hit the head on the nail when he said

hopefully more people will be alert on this terms watch, although i doubt it. people are basically apathetic and simply expect others to fix all the problems with a patch and a hammer and nail, it just doesn't work that way. it's a scary times acomin!

The sad thing is our only two choices are Obama or Romney.

                              They're both horrible.

The problem is they are both from hopelessly broken political parties-- Democrats and Republicans.

It really is time for a viable third party, but I don't see that happening at any time in the near future..

Who got us in this situation? WE did. We kept puting horrible people in office decade after decade until we reached this point.
