My BK attorney is a suggested friend on facebook

So I declared BK over 4 years ago and moved far away from California during BK yet somehow on the top of my list a suggested friend is my BK attorney.
It appears that he just signed up for facebook and I'm wondering why he became a suggestion. I have changed emails since then and my facebook has never been attached to that old email. This really makes me leary about using facebook.

Logan, I'm not a facebook fan, but I believe if a person scans for your name, it is logged on your name. Not a good thing but, remember, there is no real privacy on the Internet. I used to do a little skip tracing and with your IP, I could soon know who you are. I really don't care who you are, but on facebook it might only be an inquiry. There could be a number of reason, you may have some of the same friends, you may have some of the same likes, or the two of you visit some of the same websites (bankruptcy related, most likely) and facebook is cross referencing.

He only has 1 friend so far and it's his daughter who I don't know. As I said it appears he just signed up for facebook so maybe it linked my old email to my name?

If you block him he will be unable to search for you and he will not come up as a suggested friend any longer. He'll never know you did it. On the flip side you won't be able to see him either.

My sister is friends with a woman that recently passed away. For whatever reason her family is keeping her facebook page alive. I didn't want to constantly see her as a recommended friend so I just went ahead and blocked her.

I doubt that he's looking for me. He was a good attorney and I haven't seen or heard from him since the 341 hearing except for a letter in the mail stating my case was discharged and closed. I had already moved 2500 miles away bu that time and I've only been back once.
