What Bank of America Did Here

I read in the newspaper one day about a year or so ago that B of A was considering closing their super market branches. Heck, that's where I was banking, I could go grocery shopping and cash a check at the same location. It was a real convenience. Never heard anything more about it. I was using that super market branch at least once a week and got to know the tellers. Then one day I went to cash a check and the tellers were eating cake. I asked them what the occasion was and they said today is our last day and the branch is closed for good. I never got any kind of notification at all. It reminded me of some outfit trying to sneak out of town at night. The next day I opened an account with my local credit union.

One reason why they likely left is that the super market managers can be a pain in the butt to deal with and BofA may have tired of it.
