I've actually been getting some wallpapering jobs (YEAH), so not on as much as B4. When I do get on, I've been doing more reading than posting.
Something interesting,....when i'm not on for even a few days I lose the contact with all of you. So much happens in a couple of days...I miss out. LOL

There are only a handful of the original posters on here from when I first started posting on this forum in 2005. I hope everything worked out for SinkingFast.

So far, I'm doing okay.

I've been able to manage to get by without filing bankruptcy. If I can just get past the SOL for the last remaining debts, I will be home free. That should all be over this fall.

Only one small creditor bothered to sue me so far, and they have been very quiet for years. They have not yet domesticated their tiny judgment in my state, and I don't think they will ever bother with it.


My credit report looks horrible, but in about 1-2 more years, all the negatives will fall off of my credit report.

And, I have learned to never again use credit for anything, and I will never again go into debt for anything.

I have cut back on all of my spending to the point that I have been able to weather this horrible economy without much of a problem. I just live very cheaply. For example, I only buy what's on sale at the grocery store, and I do without everything else. I bring a list and the ad with me, and I stick with it. And I plan ahead and figure out how much it should cost me, and then I count out the cash and only bring that much money with me. If it goes over that amount, I have them put back whatever I can't afford to buy. It's embarassing at times, but it saves me a lot of money!

Going down- since filing I have been doing the same thing at the grocery store. Cash only is great!
