    Bankruptcy Friendly Banks?

I have a bank account but I wanted to open another one but I am having problems b/c most of the banks do a credit check. And, since I filed BK my credit score is very low. I always thought they only denied you if you are on chexsystems or telecheck. I tried US Bank and Flagstar online and was denied for both d/t to credit scores. I am not on Chexsystem or Telecheck so this is not a problem.

I live in GA. Please let me know of banks that do not run a credit check.

I have never had a bank run my credit for a checking account. Try a local bank.

      Try a credit union.
Opened account with a local credit union after BK- no problems, gave me an RV loan too- seven months post BK discharge, and a credit card too.
In the process of closing TBTF accounts.
I like the credit union- they are really helping us boost our credit back up.
All posts are opinion only- I am not an attorney.

Try Suntrust. I opened one with them online.
