Apparently, I KNOW I REALLY trust backtoschool and care as well.
Well, I did. Every one of 'em. Mostly I remember the last one. The wild finish. A guy standing on a station platform in the rain with a comical look in his face because his insides have been kicked out. -Rick

I don't feel the need for a prenup. I will gladly share my bkforum memorabilia, my $300 Orchard bank credit card, and my $100k of non dischargable student loans with OhioFiler.

I am so glad that that old jar of moldy pennies that my father gave you to take me off his hands has helped in your pre-bk budgeting.

I didn't have one, nor would I have agreed to sign one given our circumstances at the time we married. Neither one of us had any real assets to protect before we married. Had my ex had significant assets, I would have signed a pre-nup that he got them as long as they weren't co-mingled (such as sold to buy the family home). If I had significant assets at the time of marriage, I would have wanted a pre-nup with the same conditions.

My hubby and I got married in our 40's.

He asked me to marry him 10 days after I was diagnosed with a SVA (aneurysm in my heart). He needed a Lemon Law agreement. LOL

To me, happiness in marriage = independence within your dependence. You can try to protect your $ and stuff with a pre-nup but what is gonna protect your heart if you break up?

Falling in love is easy. Staying in love takes hard work. I can honestly say that it is worth it. We both agree that we are even stronger as a couple after our little "speedbump" of bankruptcy.

                                My .02 worth.
