That is Google Ad-Sense at work. Key words used on pages bring forth certain ads that are deemed by Google to be relevant.

Click on the ads and you help bkforum make some coins......

I just wish I would have started using a reward card for my business expenses 3 or 4 years ago (when I first started advertising online). I could have probably seen half the world by now! Guess late is better than never.

but you know...what?????/ i have been getting so much spam......now..why is that..all my filters are on HIGHEST and i have never rec'd this much spam....about get your new mortgage now...get out of debt......NEVER in all my years have i gotten this much spam!!!!!!!!!

You probably have a lot of adware and spyware on your computer from visiting related websites on the internet (sites related to anything to do with refinancing, debt consolidation, applying for a mortgage, credit card, anything). Get yourself a good virus/all around program and have it scan your computer on a daily basis (i.e. late at night while you are sleeping). You'd be surprised at the adware and spyware that it picks up/eliminates. Also, if you have ordered anything online or given your email address out anywhere on line, you will be hit with spam. Also, such as in forums like this or any forum, people in the debt or BK/financial fields glean out email addresses that are posted in profiles and they don't even have to join to do so so don't list email addresses in profiles because any information on your profile can be viewed by anyone

As to the ads on here, they are geared to you and what you search for or post about while online...one time I responded on here to someone who was having carpenter ant issues. Lo and behold, all sorts of exterminator ads starting appearing. So if someone was posting about credit cards on here during or after BK, guess what will start showing as ads on your own personal computer...It's the way Google ads work - it's that way in most forums or sites you visit on the internet. Nothing is private anymore...

you know flamingo, you got that right...i just contacted our server because all of a sudden we are getting more spam than email!! and it's not all cons...it's everything from applying for credit cards, jobs...refins...buy my cream it will take 50 years off your face...LOL!! what is going on here!!..( promise i wasn't searching for cream...)..

all our security settings are on high as well as i clear cookies daily......and it seems like these people have found ways around the firewalls...bad news!
