Chase Bank Trying to Impose $10 fee a month

You have to watch out for BofA too. They actually put a check for through for $1000 that I stopped 18 months earlier and then claimed that I needed to stop the check EVER six months. They said it didn't matter what date that I had on the check, just as long as I wrote the words correctly and wrote the number correctly and signed it, the check is good and it's my fault. I QUICKLY closed that account after being with some version of that bank for close to 28 years. I am in the process of reporting them to the NYS Comptrollers office. It's absolutely ridiculous. Watch out for that bank!

when we moved we had chase banks all over the place.....

first, i hate what chase did with our mortgage...here it is almost 3 years now...no foreclosure.....secondly they are too big.

we always tried to use the smallest community bank everywhere we have lived. better service since they actually CARE about keeping your account.

we also did open an account at a small credit union, just in case we ever need a car loan...we'll see how that works, hopefully not for a very long time!!

"the American dream is over", "the big banks and corrupt politicians are taking over and destroying us", "what are we to do", "the banks always get bailouts at our expense", "ceo's pay and bonus's are huge" .

All this just makes me wonder why would any of you use chase, bofa and the rest of them unless you really have no choice?

I just feel the middle classes money should stay with the middle class and we should starve out these big criminal thugs!

Once again obama, palin and the rest of them are not going to save you. We can save ourselves by supporting each other.

Starting a bank run away from the big banks is a pretty good start.

like back to family, caring...concern for each other and not MONEY MONEY MONEY......

you made me think back for a moment when we first lived in the house we lost (after 33 years)...we had the most land with the best soil....i went door to door asking people to join me and started a co-op garden on my land....everyone worked it with such love and care....the kids learned what came from a simple seed....and the rewards besides quality time with our family and friends ...food on the table. i always said you could never ask more of a fruit tree...blossoms...shade, beauty and food. can't ask for more.
