some find it easier...to run it by someone prior to facing them, the actual people. at least that is the way is view it.

If it were as easy as that, I would. But anytime I bring up anything to this person, they can't have an adult conversation. It will just end with her screaming and cussing at me, because that's how it always is. If you every make her think for 1 second that she is not perfect, she'll cuss you out.
I may be smarter than an attorney, but I'm not one. No legal advice here, people.

Sounds like fun to me. I don't mind a good confrontation when I am on the side of honor and integrity.

#1...These idiots will be broke relatively soon, and you will be asked for money.

#2. You do not like these jerks, so you should either quietly unfriend them or let them know exactly what idiots they are.

#3. There is not much honor in being the 'sneaky meanie' These people give you an opportunity to improve yourself by taking the issue head on. It won't be easy, but you can do it if you really want to.

#4. My experience has been that people like this don't ever change. Find better people to associate with.

I feel like I'm coming in on this conversation too late, but dump her, dumpin. People like that are too stressful. You two are not on the same page. Life will be better without her.

This thread has lit my fire!!

OK, some 22 or so years ago, I married my Mrs. C. She owned, not inherited, (by way of deeds in common) her family farm of 1860. She has no progeny and would not at the age we married.

I have two daughters by former wife. My wonderful Mrs. desired to preserve this natural Florida hammock and we long ago agreed to give it as a Park with life estate. It took us 20 years to do this. The value of 266 acres on the river was about ten mil and I had money going into the marriage so we were not hurting.

Once we transferred this to the State of Florida, with a wildlife easement, and allowed them to build, we got for not one penny of our costs, a park open to the Public, without our home-place inclusive. We are pleased.

My oldest daughter told my youngest: "Well there goes my inheritance". What inheritance? It was not my property, it was my wife's family and her property nor would I consider them in a will if my wife passed first. NOT AT ALL. I would do her wishes.

Well as it went, the transfer of the land protected all, in that we still control and no longer pay taxes on, and we have our cake and eat it too. It saved it from the enemy of nine years and serial suits as well as bankruptcy as what very good money we had, bled to lawyer fees and then medical bills. God works in wondrous ways.

At this time, we are far poorer than ever in life, but you know.........much happier. When I could afford to help a person by writing a check for a hundred without even considering it, that person soon needed another help aid. We gave much in money and labor to help others and our community in all. But, once we became BROKE, we became RICH.

The best thing I/we have come across has been this Forum as we now still help people, without cost, and who are far more appreciative than those we gave money to. Our ignorance was a lesson to learn. We did, and now we pass our experience onto others freely and our reward is far above what money can buy.

We never needed to keep up with "jonesess" as when you have money, you don't need to speak of it so we did not. It is those who have not had money, get some, brag of it, then will shortly lose it.

Many State Lottery winners have lost all inclusive of their own lives in some cases with easy money. There is no such thing as easy money. It is ill gotten, even legally obtained, in that the value is not realized. If you work for it, then the intrinsic value that it represents is an investment in your life's time. Given money is someone else's life's time, and is not appreciated or in most cases, used wisely.

This epistle is my opinion. 'Hub
