sending PMs

Hi all. I just sent 2 private messages to different members. Yet, when I checked my sent messages, it said I had 0 sent messages. Does anyone know why this is? Do I have to have a certain # of posts before I can send messages? I did not receive any error message when I hit the send key.

You have to change your settings so that it saves sent messages. By default this forum does not save outgoing messages.

In your User CP go to "Edit Options". From there you can scroll to "Messaging & Notification". Scroll down to "Private Messaging" and you can click on the box that says this:

When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder.
Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default
