What's this with everyone asking test questions these days on the Bankruptcy forum... anyhow... I probably failed.

    C. 7, 254

    A. Gateway is outside of the user’s subnet

    C. The host ID bits are all binary 1’s, making the address a broadcast address and therefore invalid as a host ID.

Yes. More than 22 years. I'm at the top of the technical food chain. (Enterprise/Solution Architect) That just means I really don't know the "specialist-level" detail at many levels, but my experience is broad.

Hey JB, got you beat on this one.. 40 yrs mechanical logic, relay logic, transistor mainframes, IC mainframes multiple dyadic processing, raid 5, minis, micros, to the component, token ring thick net, thin net, binary programming, hex, octal, conversions to native language. I can fix anything, but damn, I can't pass a test. LOL.

In the long run, if you have a question, these days, ask a teenager. If he wears a pocket pen protecter, make him a friend. LOL. 'Hub

Nice! If you don't mind me asking what educational track did you follow? I mean did you go to a college or a school like ITT etc?

Traditional college (Information Systems Sciences). I think for the computer industry, depending on what you want to do, purely Technical schools (like ITT) are okay. Especially if you're just going to get an MCSE, CCNA, or similar certifications.

If you're looking to run an entire I/T department someday (Senior Manager, Director, etc), then you may want to traditional 4-year or more degree. Don't get me wrong, you can get far with an MCSE and CCNA (and the like) but the ascension will take longer in larger companies.
