I am wondering if any of you here will be able to answer me..

MY question is this..
what could have happen to my friend's loan..

a year ago my friend seek somebody's help to modify her house..
they asked her to pay 4k , the person (realty agency) was successful it went down with 500 deduction of payment. but 5 months later the lender raise the payment again to exactly the same. SO now we dont know what happen.

What action should we do? and waht could have happen?

EXAMPLE

PAYMENT BEFORE MODIFICATION WAS 1k
Paid the guy 4k to help.
then lender lowered it to 500
5 months later lender put it back to 1k.

What happen pls anyone know abour real estate?

Your friend should seek the help of their State's Attorney General. There have been scams out there where companies say that they can help lower your payment. Some of these companies have even swindled people out of their homes. Your friends needs to go and check the deed to their property and make sure they didn't "quit claim" the property or some other fraud was perpetrated.

Again, I'd seek the State's Attorney or Attorney General on this issue. You may need to file a fraud complaint with the police as well.
