I can contest that the truck rental industry is not doing as well as it may appear. The truck rental companies make their profits from long hauls from one end of the US to the other. Most of the places you rent a truck from contract for the company and recieve anywhere between 12-17% of the rent. Just getting out of the rental business, I can say the total sales were down about 50%.Comment

One-way rentals is where the money is at with U-Haul and the others. While many of the trucks are moving and being rented, in our area, it's just mostly moving across town or to a different apartment. its funny, when some are down and out, other compaines seem to thrive and do well...
family is not 1st, 2nd or 3rd in my book...I have 2-3 members that live in an apartment with others just so they can afford rent. they have two of my vehicles which they have stopped making payments on...I have just heard that one vehicle may have problems..but he expects me to pay to have it fixed, so he can keep using it for work... I told him, are you damn serious? I told him if i have to come get the vehicle, then I am selling it...I am not their parents, nor should I have to take care of their car needs
just because we are related in some way...I got them these vehicles out of the kindness of my heart, and told them, they
had to keep making payments on them...so far they are just taking advantage...they keep saying they have no
money...well its god damn nice of you using my cars so you can make money from your job, so you can tell me
that you can not pay me because you have no money....Comment
