Government needs to focus on producing more jobs for the citizens of the US. Everything is spiraling out of control because of their stupidity. Telling everyone we need to spend more money to keep the economy going. Yeah, ok, when basically everyone is out of work and can't find work because we have lost millions of jobs that we will never see again. To me, the only ones ahead of the game are the wolves that work on Wall Street and other agency groups.
Also, to the president, you need to stop issuing bail out money to the huge organizations, spending billions on this health care reform, adding taxes to daily necessities all at the cost of the tax payer. Your spending money like its a Capital One credit card!!!! Of course you will see the stock market go up a little bit while you flood the market with billions of dollars but in a few months when it runs out and reality hits again we're in for another crash! Let the wounds bleed for goodness sake. I'm just trying to survive day by day broke as a joke, unemployed. In your speech, I thought you were about "change".

Our own government can't save us. Just worry about number 1.

This recession may be over, however I am inclined to agree that when it ended, the depression started.

        This party's just getting started......

Normally I used to think that way too. 2 years ago when everyone was outraged that the govt was denying there was even a recession I also felt it's everyone's perception that determines whether it's true or false.

        Today it's different.

If Uncle Sam was an actual person we would all be welcoming him to the forum at this time which is why I'm down on the economy and no news can cheer me up.

If we had real stimulas that would rebuild our manufacturing base, sell goods and services abroad, help the local, regional banks that do good and let the big banks go to hell where they belong then I would be optimistic.

This isn't the case and no politician will do anything about this.

It does look as though more Americans are starting to see it this way which is good. This time next year we will know for sure when both houses get thrown out.

After reading posts like this, http://www.bkforum.com/showthread.php?t=46273

It also makes me think that this too is adding to a very slow, painfull recovery if one even exists.

Look how many people that really want to do the right thing just can't at no fault of their own.

I'm certain that if it weren't for these monthly rate hikes most of these people wouldn't even consider defaulting.
