In my opinion he is no worse than America's team a few years ago with players testing positive for drugs every time they turned around. They still played right or wrong.

Because not liking Farve makes me a Vic or Browns fan? Not sure I understand your logic, oh wait, you are not using logic.

But in response, I actually like players who are decent people, not criminals or egotistical crybabies, but your point that there are a lot worse players in the NFL is well-taken. My point is that I'm tired of the yearly drama-queen theatrics of Farve. It's sad that a good quarterback never made it to the big show, but that happens all the time.

I can't stand Brett Favre either, but he did make it to the Super Bowl twice. He beat the Patriots in the first one and lost to my beloved Broncos in the second.

I can't stand Favre cause he quit on the Jets. I went to the game last year in the rain against Denver, stood there waiting for the magic to happen. Nothing. Not sure if it was old age or lack of interest but their playoff run just died. Of course it could just be the Jets curse. But I tend to think he quit on them at the end of last season. I'd rather see the dog abuser in Philly than Favre back anywhere.

Did you see the illegal and unnecessary block Brett Favre threw at Eugene Wilson's knees? He doesn't want to quit the game at 40, but is ok with potentially ending another's career because he's too much of a sissy to tackle a guy smaller than him legally... if the rib hurts that much, stay off the field, don't compensate by playing dirty.

ok, so i was watching a sports show this morning, and they had a pretty good explanation. Brent would have gone to MN last year but the Packers still had his rights, and wouldn't let him. So he went to the Jets to get free of them. I'm not sure who is worse, the Jets or Brent Farve. Both leave a bad taste.
