CreditKarma is a joke. It says my score is 671, but I know for a fact that my Transunion score is only about 580 or so, or it was a couple of weeks ago. I doubt it's jumped up that much in two weeks since nothing has changed.

            Don't feel bad! You're winning!

Just kidding. Just remember creditkarma is way off, I pulled my same CRA score from FICO recently and it was 600. So don't take your creditkarma score too seriously, it is a true FAKO.

Eh I'm not sure, but mine is probably the lowest since I've never bothered rebuilding it since filing bankruptcy . (Yes that means I have no loans, no credit and do not owe anyone anything).

Thats the best credit score ever!

                No debt!

                Good for you!

It sucks that a value of your "worth" in this consumer world is dependent on some secret formula that gives you a three digit numerical, seemingly meaningless number.

Seems like when you file BK, you should get an auto 200 point boost in your score. Hell, you have not debt and you can't bk on anyone for 8 years. What more could you ask for in a consumer!

With a pending foreclosure, a 2nd mortgage that is almost 120 days past due, 3 auto repossessions in the last few months, several revolving accounts which are all significantly past due and/or charged off, medical collections, a civil judgement...

I can honestly say I probably have some of the crappiest credit here! I am guessing the score to be in the low to mid 400's?!?!?

The odd thing is that I feel liberated knowing that I will not be borrowing in the future. Which in turn means I will not be spending my future earnings before they are earned!

There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel!

OMG, "should we file", yes, it is LIBERATING knowing that although our situation we're in really stinks, we will never be in this again and after this is over will be debt free forever. Never using credit again. What a lesson this has been for all of us!

From 718 in Jan, after no payments in Dec - to 633 in March, after filing end of Feb - to 695 today, 431 last month.

Creditkarma was showing in mid 600's when Transunion was showing 508.

The question becomes, why is creditkarma still in business since they are so far off? - jb

well since DW and I got our first post BK credit this weekend. We bought a used car. the interest rate is high but i am going to send extra payments to bring it down to what a normal rate would be.
