Thanks everyone, not what I epected on a peaceful Sunday morning. The moderators, I mean the Supermoderators have indeed all shared photos, jokes and other items here. As for "opinions" the old cliche goes, they are like *ssholes, everbody has one.

If you will recall we have shared drinks, had "parties" and a host of other ridiculous moments and arguments over movies, sex, politics, accusations that spilled over from other unrelated forums by those who recognized each other and all. I enjoy the pics and will share more as the next couple of days rolls on. The first statement i rresponded to was so bloody ridiculous that it was wise to just write "disregard". So, I let it go now.

and just say thanks and I hope that the photos are enjoyable.

The price on SLR's sre falling fast ready2 but I am on a self imposed financial lockdown. I have sold every unneeded, unwanted item from my home. So have many co-workers. My house has been lightened by, no joke, at least 1000 lbs. in the last year. The attic is empty. I have also lightened myself. More time outdoors. We have no computer games, etc.. in the house. I sold my Sony DVD Recorder, VCR and all extranious electronics and am now down to my DVR, a $70 Home stereo that works great and is part of the DVD Player. I sold all of my VHS tapes on ebay and buy only DVD's from the Walmart bin or the Target $5-5.50 wall, or Office depot $6.00 Double features.

We have given away or sold any unused furniture. I can now walk in my attic (my "attic" is a 21 x 12 walk-in above the den which is not part of my square footage but has been floored and the electrical piped out along with the AC duct ready for the plenum, all the studs are in also), the crawl space is above the second floor rooms but we have never used it to store things.

I have upgraded my Compaq ro 4 GB of Ram added and extra internal 320 GB WD hardrive and have my 160 external also. I sold my ATI 256 card and upgraded to a 512 NVIDIA. All this so that the computer will remain relevant for two more years. I sold my other computer which i bought the same day two years ago. LIGHTEN, LIGHTEN, LIGHTEN. All of my lovely peripheral add-ons like the Sony DVD external burner were sold. All extra TV's were sold, we have a large, nice one in the Den only. I went on a life simplyfing binge and a major house "weight reduction" binge after my blood pressure issue in April. I sold every last tool from my 19.6 years as a diesel tech in the Bus Division, that life is over and I wanted it all gone. I am shedding the dead weight of life as fast as I can, it is an amazing stress reliever. I highly recommend it.

Sorry for the long posts but haven't been here in awhile

I will get my Canon SLR though! I still pay my website and domain fees for my photos, that is my outlet.

But with a financial storm looming I am lightening and paying in chunks, upgrade what you want to last. I believe that the printed money for new package will be our undoing once it is chasing more goods than are available. The "stimulus" package will be a tremendous help for my wife and I career wise, $80 million has already found its way to my Agency and my wife's job with the State is self funded by those large Corporations and folks of means who destroy regular folks lives. I am in no danger. I worry for the rest of the Country and would gladly see the pork package go away and take my chances.

I think your sharing of photos and what is going on with your family and life is not only welcome, but in some ways a necessity.

We are all here in this BK hell, and most posters probably move on once they are discharged and never heard from again.

It is nice for us who are in the mix of it to see that there is life after BK, that things do get better and that "one of us" actually has the time and luxury to go on a trip and take pictures to share, even if it is only a back yard trip or a business trip, or any kind of trip.

I don't know your back story, but anyone going through BK has certainly had to struggle at some point, so having things go well in your life is certainly much deserved and warrants a posting to share.

Sometimes you have to write it all down, just to reassure yourself it is true!

Kudos to you, keep sharing your art, and if anyone else ever posts a nasty post, I think it pisses them off more to just be ignored. People who try to hurt other people with their words are just usually starved for attention, have no self esteem and are looking for a quick high by being nasty to someone else while they roll around in their own misery.

Robivi3 - Welcome Back Old Friend
Great to hear from you and glad you brought us up to date on what's going on in your life these days...

The pics were FANTASTIC...... you know me, I love to check out the photos that you and HHM post every so often. Both of you travel around some and give us all insight to "places" we'll never see in our life times.

Hope your son learned "something" from his experience in life's ups and down in growing up and hopefully he will stay on the right path from now on. Sometimes "street education is the best "teacher" we know for the younger generation. There's always a "payback" for our actions.... one way or another. Sounds like the other two boys are on the right path and seeking their goals in life.

Glad to know that both you and your wife's jobs are holding in there. I too feel so sorry for all those that are getting caught in the layoffs, cutbacks, closing of stores, and downsizing. Our two main auto parts factories here have cut back tremendously.... my neighbors are all 'FEELING THE PINCH'. I'm fortunate too to be blessed with a state level job that secure.

I know you had some health problems there for a while, hope all that is straightened out now, and soon you can retire and enjoy what you have worked sooooo hard for over the years.

Hope all the "babies" are doing well, I know how much you love your pets, like I do mine. My girls are great and still are the best part of my evening sitting on the deck with them. A real nice boxer pup moved in next door to keep my girls on their toes and flirty...... and next to the fence all day talking.

Don't be such a stranger for so long. You have been missed by many of us. The newer folks are not aware of all you have offered to this forum in the past, so put a "grain of salt on it" when one gets "cocky"...... they need to read the forum rules again.

Great to say HELLO AGAIN FROM KY.............

Thank you, Min. You know the kinship i feel for you. Incidentally, this entire area, especially around the lake is also the film location for "The Yearling", the Glen is the clearing in the photos and the boat photo is the lake.

A lovely spot, $4.20 per day to enjoy it, swim, walk, sleep, do as you please, very nice and peaceful.

Hmmm, maybe it was HHM that posted the photos I was referring to. I think they were from Thailand, or somewhere in asia.

Yep, it was HHM...... he took a trip around the world and shared his pics of some of the places he traveled to. GREAT PHOTOS......

Yep folks, this section of the forum is for whining, thanking, sharing, and getting our minds off of bankruptcy for a little while.

Even though bankruptcy CONSUMS US when we're going thru it, this section helps with a little laughter, a chuckle, a smile, and it lets us know that there are MORE IMPORTANT THINGS in our lives then a misfortune....... that we can get over......

So continue to share you pics, your thoughts, you ideas, and you problems with us....... we all do really care about the other part of our lives too....
