I filed on 2/21....logged on to IRS site and it said to deposit 3/10.

Today I checked and now it says 3/11.

I sure hope it comes!

We filed on February 19th. The IRS wheres my refund site said to expect direct deposit on March 3rd. Well that date came and went and then on the morning of the 4th there is a new message saying that its being processed and to call a 1-800 number and mention reference code 1301. That is just a generic code and NO ONE after 5 phone calls has any idea. I actually got 5 different responses!!!

After spending a great deal of time online I see this is happening to many many many people. And those are just the ones writing about it. Something is not right! if the IRS knows there is a problem then they should just own up to it and let the American people know. As far as one of the IRS reps knew there has been no tax refunds deposited this week but he doesnt know why.

Where do you go to find out the status of your refund?

Go to IRS.GOV and the link should be right on the front page. You will need your SS number and filing status as well as the exact amount of refund your expecting.

probably taking all our tax return money to give to the bailouts....stalling us.

Ok, this is weird. I logged in yesterday to IRS.GOV and it said my refund would deposit on 3/11.

As of this morning, they already deposited it into my bank account

It should clear by tonight! Yippieeeee

We filed 2/20 and the website said it would be deposited today and sure enough, they were right.

Now state on the other hand, who knows when CA will send that money out.
