    Would you????

MUSKEGON, Mich. (Jan. 28) - Some workers at a Michigan pancake restaurant found a sweet way to help out their boss and the workplace they love.
With customer traffic down a bit at Mr. B's Pancake House lately, lead server Mary VanDam asked co-workers if they might be willing to work a shift without wages to help out owner Dave Barham.

For the right employer I would... it's just a gift of service after all, and one that would likely pay off in the end by having a more loyal employer.

I would for a small business like that.. as long as I got to keep my tips to help them out and to keep myself afloat as well.

For the government when none of the politicians are willing to take a pay cut? No.

Same goes for a corporation where the top execs continue to receive outrageous salaries. Greedy business people are taking note at how far they can push people and will continue to do this long after the recession.

I would for (1) shift a month. I'm a salaried employee and give over 8 hours per day anyway, what's a few more. The owners of my hotel are so gracious, it's the least I could do.

I work on salary and work over my time each week anyway so yes I would do it. In the long run it would help the employees anyway, especially if business were so poor it forced him to shut it down.
