I am so sorry about your precious furbaby. I'm sitting here fighting tears just reading this post, because it brings back the pain of losing my sweet Furball years ago. We have four furkitties now and love them all dearly and that has helped with the pain of losing Furry, but I still miss him so very much. My heart breaks for all the unwanted and mistreated animals in this world and for the good owners who are grieving for their babies. Please know that I am so sorry for your loss.

iguess i should clarify, as this post has become a long one... nick is still with me... he has made one of his many come-backs, but time and his virus are not on his side, according to the vet...

i just bought him some solid white albacore for his lunch, he loves it...

I am glad to hear that. It was so hard for me to attend to my cat in his final days. My first had cancer so I had him put down. My second "shadow" I took care of for days and he died peacefully at home. I came home one day and he could no longer move. I had been syringe feeding him for about a week. The vet had told me to expect that he would not survive unless he received alot of food through the syringe. After a few days, he just refused everything. I am glad to hear your Nick is making a rebound. I pray he's not suffering in any way.
