Happy Holidays everyone! This was our first post-discharge, all-cash, strict budget Christmas and although it was a shock to see so little under the tree, it's been our best Christmas yet. For everyone on their way to discharge or just beginning the process, stay positive and hang in there!Comment

Here is what we have done the last couple of years: Mrs. AC and I buy each other things throughout the year, as we can. Mostly, it is things that we need to repair the house, but there are a couple of 'fun' things as well. So when Christmas comes, we don't need or want anything. We also don't have kids, so that helps. So we put cards representing what we have given/received thru the year, and give thanks for those things, and each other on Christmas Day.Last edited by AngelinaCatHub; 12-25-2008, 04:26 PM.If I knew it all, would I be here??
