Where is the relief for homeowners?????

I understand the Wall street and AIG bailouts although I disagree with some of the terms.

I don't really get the auto bailout since they themselves admit that they might go under even WITh the bailout.

Meanwhile Americans everywhere are losing homes and adding to the economic demise of the foundation of the country, home ownership.

I feel very bad for those that are losing their homes. I am lucky to be able to afford mine.
Very fortunate in the grand scheme of things but have learned my lesson.

    Filed 12/15/08, 341 1/12/09, Cont to 2/12/09, cont to 3/12/09, cont to 4/15/09, cont to 5/11/09, cont to 6/02/09. Discharged 9/16/09, Closed 10/23/09

I gotta agree, this was suppose to be the main reason for the bailout, but yet no homeowner who was in danger from what I've heard has had any relief.

Well, they did get some relief. Some foreclosures are being held off until January 9, 2009. I guess they didn't want to be foreclosing during Christmas.

Other than that... I've heard of no relief. Of all the programs (including HOPE), not even 50,000 homeowners are even eligible. Shame.

Anyhow, I'm never eligible for anything, so it wouldn't matter for me.
