    If only snow was money....

I would be a rich man!! Hell I probably would not even have a reason to be on a BK forum.... lol. Well I got to go shovel about 8 tons of worthless white stuff!!

Awwwwww, but just THINK how much pleasure that "snow" gives you when you look out a window and its so beautiful....... one of God's gifts.....

Yes, we have to shovel it, climb thru it, it makes us late to work but think of all the pleasure it brings too.

The amazement on kids faces when they see it,
the laughter of kids/adults playing in it
a puppy/kitten trying to figure out what THAT STUFF is...
A baby touching it for the first time
    making snow cream....
    making snow angels.....
builiding that fort or that snowman
    throwing snowballs at Dad/mom

Yeah, its a "pain" but so much of a pleasure at the same time!!!!!

I know, I'd sure "miss" my snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day....... it's like it drops a sense of "peace" on the world for just a few hours...... then its gone!!

Hrx, want me to ask the Big Guy for more for you??

We've gotten flurries here and there..Fun walking 3 miles to work slipping here and there, good thing didn't lose footing..But worse is coming...Ice storm predicted this weekend and the nasty thing? They are right 38% of the time with the weather here...EXCEPT when an ICE storm is coming..Been 100% in regards to time and such...

Dang, wish they'd miss the mark this time..Oh, I can survive with missing work, but gee whiz...ice?? Man, make it 24" of snow, I can deal with that alot better....

We got 8" of snow total.

Had to dig myself out of the snow drift that the plow made. That's always a chore because you can't just shovel it back into the street. Have to carry the snow shovelful by shovelful and dump it elsewhere.

Gave a great excuse to not go into work today. Never even got in the car today.

Reminds me of the comic (Years..Heck a decade or two ago) where a guy and his wife are looking out at 2 feet of snow and the guy says:

"I like this part of the year, our lawn looks as good as the neighbors"

Oh yes - I've seen my share of snowstorms - being from NY. But now I live in very warm place with lots of sunshine (and that we don't have to shovel). And I can honestly say - I do not miss the snow! Even during the Xmas season.
