You can grow camomile easily. After harvesting, just tie the stalks and hang upside down to dry out to use for tea. Cover it with a cloth or paper towels, anything not plastic to keep it dust free.
I have roses, hibiscus, enchencia & tons of flowers & shrubs but mostly I only grow veggies, berries & sunflower seeds for food. I have never tried herbs except for sage & it was good, but you only use sage for a few things.
I buy a box of camomile tea bags then do one bag of camomile to 4 bags of green tea per gallon. it gives it just the right amount of spiced flavor & I am going on my second year of drinking it like that. It is real strong flavor to drink straight but it must have calming properties.

I have no idea what the flower actually looks like in real life but it should be able to grow here easily.

another one that calms me is Cedar. the smell of cedar in oil or japanese incense will put me to rest for a good half hour. I am not saying it does anything for internal pupose but certain smells do something to the brain that can excite or relax me.

I would like a cabin made of Cedar if I were a rich man.

I picked up some Natures Bounty Valerian root / calming blend yesterday.

It has 450mg Valerian root along with a blend of Hops, Passion Flower and Lemon Balm.

I am going to give it a try and see if it helps!

Thanks for the suggestions, I might try to hunt down some Passion Flower just to take a more higher dose since who knows how much is in this.

In any event I ended up on 375mg of Effexxor XR and started to have really bad side effects about 3 months in. And then it took me about 3 months to get over the withdraw symptoms! Not trying to scare you, hopefully you can get by ok with it!

I am going to go ahead and give Kava and Valerian each a shot, its cheap enough so why not! If it helps at all (I am a skeptic) I will report back!
this is my current list LOL

          Lamicatal 100mg
          lexapro 20mg
buspar (supposed to take 60mg a day, but does shit! lol)

I know you've probably already heard this one, but exercise has a good way of regulating the body.

            How about St. Johns Wort?

ive tried exercising and i follow a really good diet, eat veggies..fruit...drink green tea and lotsa water...regular vitamins and also tried st johns wort, and other supplements that were supposed to help, when none of them did thats when i finally decided to try and give some prescriptions of a try, im a health freak and i hate the fact of experimenting with these scripts and feeling like im putting poisons in my body, but its a last resort kinda thing...and if it works than its all good.

Unfortunately, with rx meds, it's hit or miss. Obviously, what works for some does not work for others.

Don't give up. Keep trying and tinkering with it.

What works today, might not work tomorrow.

What works today, might have side effects that are unpleasant. You'll have to weigh all the pros and cons.

For me, there was a point where the side effects were worse than the condition so I gave up on the meds.

Talk to the pharmacist. Even though the doctor is the one presribing, the pharmacist knows all about the pharmacology of the meds and might be able to make a suggestion you can take to the doctor.
