Not really a BK question, so I thought I'd try this in General Talk.
I have to be honest. I filed on 7/31 and just hit my 60-day mark today and things have been smooth as butter. Filing went smooth, 341 went smoothly, and by mid-October, I had my report of no distribution.
However, I have been a bit paranoid at times about the property I am keeping. My payments have been on time, and I've actually got myself almost 1-month ahead on my first mortgage. My second mortgage (Citibank) though, has this habit of waiting forever to process my checks. They wait anywhere from 1.5-3wks from the time I send it before it hits my account.
I'm almost to the point of sending them Certified Return-Reciept just so I have proof that they are holding my checks for rediculously long periods.
Am I just being paranoid? I'm just worried that some day they're going to say, "You reaffirmed this debt and we haven't been getting your payments until 2-weeks after your due date.....blah blah blah" when I have been sending them in quite early.
