My Dad's getting a pacemaker

Dad got an infection after the surgery, mostly due to his dog scratching him near where the IV lines had been when he got home. He got very weak and there was a point he might not have made it. He finally went to the doctor and was able to get some stuff for the infection.

He is now recovering slowly from the whole ordeal. Says that he's still not feeling 100% (but he's aware he has to go for another surgery early next year).

Glad to hear your dad is doing better. Too often our parents are too stubborn to listen to their doctors and even less to us, their children. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
