ICE STORM TONIGHT AND 2-5 INCHES OF SNOW ON TOP OF THAT........ a little early (prefer Christmas Eve), but I'll take it..............

I'm all ready, firewood in, food and beverages in, and propane for the grill (for emergency cooking).......

Course, I'm a "snowbird" so I get out and drive on all of it anyways...... nothings keeps me down if I want to go...... I grew up in the snow.

I'd love to see a "good snow" of about 24-30 inches or more.......

For all of you that ARE NOT 'SNOW WISE'.........BE CAREFULL OUT THERE WHEN YOU GET OUT................

SANTA, WHERE ARE YOU????? I'M WAITING ON YOU!!!!!!!

Minny is a gal after my own heart!

Ain't no snow gonna keep me from going where I need to go!
While I don't go out un-necessarily, if I have an appt I keep it!

It is beyond cold here, for this neck of the US anyways, and it is supposed to start the snow/sleet/wet crap tommorow.

There should be a rule tho that there is always snow on the ground for christmas. And pretty snow at that!

      And, 9 days til christmas!!

Oh I wish we had snow for Christmas here! But that's unlikely in Southern California. Right now we have some rain, blah. I'm so not ready for Christmas! I still have wrapping, baking, and decorating to do. Thankfully I'm done shopping!

Well, for me, the grinch came and went...

Texted sis and couple of family..No presents given nor received from or to me..They aren't living the high life anyway, so why not spend the oney on something they'd want instead of something I might not use, need or want?

I'll be lucky to make 40 this week, then the next 2 are questionable..I do get holiday pay..But beyond that???

Geneco, get yourself something special to eat or drink on Christmas, seriously man, you deserve it

I drove in the snow!!!!! Went Xmas shopping cause nothing could keep me away! I have worked too hard in the last few weeks to let that bother me, though this sunny girl was freaked out that I live here!!!!

Shelby, in my garage and pampered. I'll share Bandit, I'll take a blue one. And you??

They make snow tires for them too, eh?

Even though "filing bankruptcy" brings us down to our knees, with empty pockets........ and struggling to get back up on the right path in life, we can still be joyfull in our hearts for the Holidays, hopefully we are in good health, and still have the love and affection of family and friends to share.

Sometimes it "takes a spell" of being WITHOUT to appreciate what we do have when we have it!!! It keeps "balance" in our lives. I've seen many Christmas's where "way to much money was spent", a lot foolishly. And I've seen Holidays where there wasn't a dime left over to buy anything with. Some of the happiest were when I was broke and had nothing....... except a roof over my head, food in my stomach, and lots of "homemade things" for family and friends. The love of family and friends, sharing their time and feelings MADE the Holidays special.

So this year, count your blessings, you may be amazed at how many you really have.......

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE FORUM - FROM MY HOUSE TO YOURS!!

May the Good Lord take a "liking" to you, and bless each one of you and yours!!
