The word "fundamental"... did anyone notice?

Do the candidates realize that they use this word over and over and over and over again? Sometimes when it really doesnt make sense. Its the adjective for everything lately.

My 16 year old counted the word was said 48 times between the 2 candidates last night.

Just curious if others noticed and what other word do you think they could use?

I also noticed how many times McCain said he reached across the aisle. And how he stood up to members of his own party. We get it!!

Also, Obama said "now let me tell you" about a dozen times.

That's the problem, they aren't out of their comfort zone, its like I posted earlier its almost like it was all choreographed. There were no new breaking questions, no real new answers.

I would like to see some real debates but so long as we just have a two party system shoved down us by the two political parties in power and the media that supports them we won't see it.

This is kind of nit picking the candidates but I also noticed that McCain has way to many Heroes.

Last night it was Reagan and then about 10 minutes later it was Roosevelt. A few days ago his hero was Kissinger. I'll be listening next week to see who his heroes are then. Nothing wrong with having alot of heroes but theres one for every subject!


Obama says ummmm an awful lot as well. Crackles those first few words out of his mouth. I tend to do that to when I am not quite sure how to begin a sentence but I am not rehearsed and trained for public speaking either.

Believe it or not, he only said it 20 times (I did a "find" on the transcript). It seemed like way more than that to me... I wanted to reach through the tv and shake him.

This is the worst I have ever seen it as far as the Presidential race. Not only do I disagree with both of them on most issues but they are both much worse then Bush when it comes to communicating.

I don't agree with Biden but at least he can speak. Come to think of it both VP candidates were not only more qualified, they can also debate. That's why the VP debate ratings were much higher. I know it was because of Palin but there was more excitement with the both of them. At least I made it to the end of the VP debate. The other two I had to change the channel. It was like a slow boring baseball game and I love baseball.

McCain:
