It almost seems as though 99% of the IT folks that specialize in Network Technology are clueless and cannot effectively fix PC problems that are placed in front of them. lol (sigh)
That is not nice!

It almost seems as though 99% of the IT folks that specialize in Network Technology are clueless and cannot effectively fix PC problems that are placed in front of them. lol I've been dealing with a local guy to work on issues that I cannot fix myself, and he does a pretty good job for the price. But it seems as though there are times I need to go behind him to install various drivers, etc to get my PC 100%. (sigh)
I know what you mean. I had bought a Toshiba laptop a couple of years ago. My desk is in front of a window. Some kids came to our door and our puppy ran jumped up on my chair then on my open laptop to see who was at the door. The dog broke off two keys off the laptop.
My DW took the laptop to a local dealer to try to have the keyboard fixed. She called me a couple hours later to tell me what she did. They told her they didn't know if they could fix it and would get back to us in a couple days..
Needless to say.. I told her to go back and get our laptop. I found a keyboard online and it took me 5 minutes to install the keyboard after it arrived. $20.00
