I was at the supermarket today and all I saw in the produce department was prepackaged white corn (I love white corn) but it was 5.79 for 4 ears of stale corn. I never did think to look at the canned veggies so don't know if there was a shortage there but intend to look the next time I go.

I dont know about price there, but here it is the same as always.
6 ears for 1.00 at the store &
12 ears for 1.00 on the side of the road.

That price of 5.79 is someone taking advantage of the people -especially during harvest.
