You might be surprised. Palin's lack of ties to Washington may actually help reform rather than impede it.
I wont be suprized. The two facts that one, she was so easy to have her email & secret personal questions cracked open by a politicians child,

using it for political business, and two, that she answered yes to a question she knows nothing about, proves that she has made & will make very foolish decisions, does not have security in her best interest,..she is a pretty face to lift the image of an elderly man who should retire yesterday and that is all

The people in Alaska aren't that crazy about her either. her
political ties have nothing to do with being not so bright.

I don't think McCain will be.
    that is what the people
said when they voted on bush the second time. then changed their mind & regret their vote, when it was too late.

I plan to vote for Barr-Root myself,
That is the direction I am leaning. I absolutley love his giving the power back to the people and making government serve the people, not dictating it.

Obama is very much part of the political machine of Washington. Personally I have little respect for him or McCain. Since elected Obama has spent less than 1 out of every 3 days Congress has been in session representing the people of Illinois. Since starting his run for President in 2006 McCain also has not attended a similar number of days.

I feel that if these men who were elected to serve the people of Illinois and Arizona cannot even do that, why should we vote for them to be President to represent all 50 states.

Very good question. The answer is because we have no other choices at this stage.

You have other choices. The Media does not cover them adequately though.

Go to your State Board of Elections website. You should be able to see who has qualified in your state to run for President.

In many states Bob Barr and Ralph Nader will be on the ballot.
In many states also Cynthia McKinney, Chuck Baldwin, and others will be available as write in candidates.

Once you know who are 'legal' candidates in your state, you can use their names and parties to look up their websites and get more information on these individuals. Then you can make an informed decision.

That has nothing to do with this.

That is correct. They do not know because they do not search for other options.

That is the lie that you choose to believe.

They hate the thought that even 1% of the vote could go to anyone but the two party system.

How is this a lie???? I saw two men debating last night, one was just ok, not great(McCain) and the other (Obama) just proved once again he doesn't belong anywhere near the White house.

                    I didn't see a "3rd" option. Did you?

Yes. and others on this forum have told you so as well.
There are other options. Why be ignorant about it?

That's because the media supports the 2 party system, there are other candidates you just have to look past what is normally reported to you.

The R and D have passed laws which unfairly limit participation in debates in campaign financing etc in any effort to crush any chance a third party has of participating.

But they are out there in every state and if you look at your State's Board of Election website, its sometimes hard to find but you'll find out who is registered in your state.
