    Bill cracks me up.

    He loves the Palin family.

I just know Bill Clinton is going to go into the voting booth and pull the McCain lever. LOL

Sometimes party lines are set aside and you vote for the person you think is best................qualified...

Bill and Hillary both probably will vote for McCain-Palin, though Hillary isn't going to say much about it, she still has that 2012 election to win.

Bill though in his recent comments has been pretty practical.

I think you are right about that.

To satisfy Democrats, they have to appear to campaign for Mr. O, but notice that it never has been very enthusiastically.

And they have both said good things about McCain and Palin.

I heard Bill wants to be the ambassador to the UN and Hillary would like having a cabinet post. They know they are unlikely to get anything like that with Obama --- and I think they really do not believe Obama can win. Bill Clinton said as much more than once during the primary.

Obamas biggest mistake was not taking Hilary while McCains smartest move was taking Palin.

Bandit-- You have got to be kidding me about Palin? Have you not heard any of her interviews. My 5 year old can come up with better answers and articulate an argument better than she is able to. At least from what I have listened to.

Actually she speaks very well about domestic issues. She is just weak on foriegn affairs. But since that is McCains strong suit it actually makes them a good pair. Try viewing the whole interview not just the clips the nightly news replays.

Oh I agree. I am in reference to the political lie itself. McCain needed that young lady to help his campaign. She is not as bright as they paint her to be & Mccain has no idea what is really happening and is a very confused man. I loved the SNL skit about her & Clinton for president.
I thought it was a riot that her email was cracked into so easily- shows how they are not so secure after all using them for business.

I wont be voting for either of those parties R or D this election.

McCain is not strong on foreign affairs. He does not even know the difference between Iran and Insurgents. Come over to the reality side of his two left feet...we have good cookies.

I have done both. I actually look at policy decisions when deciding who to cast my vote for. Additionally, with McCain's experience I would expect him to make sure his V.P. is\was prepared to deal with the public. Unfortunately, Obama's swift vote ads are already starting run about Palin ( I don't like them)

We need someone that has strong foreign affairs experience or a person that can be taken as credible.

I agree again. But he chose her for the looks of young pretty womans face (at least I think she is pretty) to aid his graying age and forget-full-ness for a fresh look. These global leaders have already been flirting with Palin.

She also totally turned me off when she conveyed her sloppy ignornace about standing in favor of the bush doctrine. She is so stupid/out of touch that she did not even have a clue what that meant!!!
It was a joke and they will indeed give us 4 more years of Bush-igNoromics.

LOL.. She is pleasant to look at. Being the pig I am(at least my wife says so) I wouldn't kick her out of my bed for eating crackers.

John dies.. and she runs the Country.. Makes me shiver.. I would opt she has to fist fight Hillary in that case.... I know.. I am bad..

You might be surprised. Palin's lack of ties to Washington may actually help reform rather than impede it.

Keep in mind Congress approval ratings are worse than Bush.

That's why I think Obama made a serious mistake in choosing Joe Biden who has served so long in the Senate. In effect he made his choice for an experienced candidate in response to McCain's experience argument. Biden himself has appeared fairly weak in interviews making more gaffs than Palin. He kinda reminds me of that Admiral that Ross Perot had as a running mate years ago.

McCain needed someone from outside of Washington. He also needed someone that could make his ticket historic and cut down on Obama's claim of a historic ticket. I felt strongly he needed to choose a minority or woman to have a real chance. I think if Alveda King was willing she would have made a much stronger VP than Palin, however she may not have been willing. He couldn't use Powell or Rice due to their ties to Bush or it would only reinforce perception of a 3rd Bush term, which I don't think McCain will be. So of the choices remaining Palin was probably his best choice if Ms King was unwilling.

I plan to vote for Barr-Root myself, I would have voted for Baldwin-Castle but NC is not allowing Baldwin as a candidate. I know a few friends are still protesting voting Baldwin in NC but since they will not count I don't see that as productive and really is throwing your vote away.

I agree, this is what also initially attracted me to Obama. They have not been involved so long to the extent they have become corrupted beyond repair.
