    9-11 Friends - NEVER FORGET

As a native New Yorker who was really 'there' that day and lucky to be alive today - my friends....let's NEVER FORGET THIS DAY. GOD bless all those that perished.

It should be a day of infamy as was Pearl Harbor, sadly our media is so distorted and our politicians so partisan it has not been viewed as it should of been.

One of my aunts brother's was a priest at the Church that was at the WTC. That morning he left home to go to Church as was his custom, but for some reason he felt the need to stop and visit a member of his church. While the visit was occuring the attacks happened and he was spared.

Lets hope that something this horrible never happens again.. I always try to look at why things happen- why did the terriosts attack on that day? US support for Israel? US involvement in the first Gulf War and troops stationed in Saudi Arabia? Many Muslims worldwide felt that US troops stationed in Saudi Arabia during the first gulf war was blasphemous and this raised aniti american sentiment in the muslim world.

I will never forget, because I lost friends in both NY and DC.

It's amazing how many people were directly affected by 9/11 with a death in the family or of a friend. I was fortunate enough to not lose any of my family of friends on that awful day.
