i'm a seamstress and would often take bridal gowns i'd altered to the local cleaners for steam/pressing - it costs $6.95 for a dress like that here in smalltown, MN. if you can afford under $20 i'd have it done professionally, they come out gorgeous.

I didn't know that! Last I heard someone told me it'd cost $100 around here. EEK! lol

I'll have to call and check around. I'm sure I can squeeze $7 from my tight budget.

Well, I have to apologize. The dress is so beautiful, I showed it to 'Hub, and he went from there. GGGGRRRRRR

Seriously, be careful about posting pictures of yourself here or anywhere on the Internet. Several of us on this forum have/had issues with cyberstalking, and you MUST be careful.

I should clarify, pictures from the neck down, of course.

Absolutely beutiful dress. I love the clean, simple, elegant lines of it. I'm sure you will look fantastic.

it costs something like that to have the dress boxed/preserved after the wedding - typically for the larger dresses with trains, etc. but just steamed/pressed shouldn't be much at all, and if they want to charge you more than $20 to steam/press that dress they're ripping you off.

                good luck!
