This is the same thing Obama does, I know God SAID he created the earth But I think EVO is true too, that going against the one you claim is almighty and you savior, how can you have a higher say then him?
Cant happen if you believe in a Christan God
Chirstainty isnt a custom religion, either you beilve what God said or you dont..end of story
Take for instance Mike Huckabee. He is an evangelical preacher. He has done many things in Christ's name. However he also has in essence embezzled funds from the people of Arkansas, sought to take Arkansas state property, destroyed Arkansas state property, all in attempts to gain material wealth and prestige in the world. Many still claim he's a Christian, but if I hold him to the same standard you are holding Obama then the answer has to be he's not, because he has sinned.
That's the beauty of Christian belief, even sinners can be saved if they believe on Christ, repent of their sins, are baptised by water and fire, then can they be saved. It is not a process that ends at baptism for as Paul said we hope to endure all things, even unto the end. We cannot be sure how these men will turn out or how Christ will judge them at that last day for we see only a glimpse of who they are and not the totality of their being.May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer

In current Christian denominations only 2 recognize such authority.
1. Catholic Church
They claim that prior to his death Peter under direction of the Lord passed the priesthood to the first Holy See thus creating an unbroken chain of authority from Christ's time until this time.
2. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
They claim that after the death of all of Jesus' apostles to whom followed him in Jerusalem, there was a great apostasy upon the land and a drought of the Word of God according to scripture. They believe that this drought came to an end during what America terms the Second Great Awakening, when first an angel and then later various ancient apostles, prophets and seers appeared unto the boy Joseph Smith and conferred upon him the keys of the Kingdom. (Even Elijah according to them appeared at the appointed hour the Jews wait for his appearance). Thus since it is conferred by those resurrected beings there is an unbroken chain as well.
Thus one of those two must be true, as all others are splinters of those two or splinters of the splinters.May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer

NONE is the answer
What the bible says is the answer
Its your job to read it and pray and hear from God
The brand is just a brand, why there are so many different brands is 2 reasons
A: power in some cases
B: the way that group see's what the bible say
LDS has added to the bible when God tells us not to, LDS is about Power
Chatolic's ...well i cant write that much on a message board
As far as Mike Hukabee I dont know his history in government so i cant comment nor do I know enough about him, He may not of had the ability to run his state and was wrong
his inablity to do his job to the liking of the people who live in his state doesnt make him a non Christian
Being a sinner is what Man is these days, Everyone sins, its the matter of deciding people for perosnal gain is what this subject is about in regards to Obama
Obama is straight Lieing and flip flopping for personal gain
He claim on thing while back other
Him and Huckabee at two total different topicsFiled Chap 7

Jesus is the Tree we are the branch
He is the Authority NO ONE ELSE no pope or pastor ETC
Pastors and such are there to guide us no rule us
Again Its your job to pick the bible up and read it if you dont understand it Pray and ask God to help you, Ask to be lead to the person who can expalin your questions or Ask for him to answer you
God says we are to know him
To me that says, I can say " Yo God how you doin"
and he will answer .....
I dont need a Pope to tell me what my God said his book tells me If he wants to say more then his book to me then he will tell meFiled Chap 7

no JRScott , they are not the only (2) ones.
there are gnostics, there is sabellianism and modalistic monarchianism, there are arians, there are ebonites, celts & christian druids, greek orthodox, there were many, many other groups that survived the holocaust of christinSanity.
every christian institution (of about 23,000) claims to be the right one & most of them the only right one & say they all go back to peter & apostolic succession & have the authority of their god & whatnot...Last edited by Bandit; 06-17-2008, 10:09 AM.

How many different versions of the bible are there? and how many times has it been edited, added to & deleted from?
would you pick the KJV (who by the way did his own little tamperings) or do you stick with the latin vulgate (by which the catholics have their own little tamperings)?
& when an older version of a writing is found do you resort to the older book or just stay with the version you already have?
& what about the apocrypha in the OT? some people say you have to believe them & others tossed them. so which books are the right ones?

My belief is that the bible is very close to what it ORG said, My father and mother in law both have been to different Bible colleges and have studied the Greek and Hebrew, From what they have told me and other have the KJV isnt too far off and the NAS (new American Stranded ) is a good one as well
There is smear ( like how i put that in) that the bible today is sooo far off from what God wanted it to say,
to that person I say if you dont trust it and wnat to learn, Learn the
Coinin (sp) greek and hebrew
and again Ask the source himself

In my 32 years as a member of my church I have never heard one person or one pastor say that we are the right one. In fact, I've never heard a pastor say that any of the other religions are the incorrect ones. What's my denomination, you ask? UCC, just like Obama.
but i can say MOST & give you a very lengthy list if needed, as well as some pretty ugly experiences starting with RCC & pentecostals.
It matters not to me what your religion is until it gets shoved onto others by use of fear & intimidation & if you go to obamas church then I view that particular congregation as racist. though to my understanding not all of the other churches in that religion are the same as his.
so if your religion is not the right one, then which one is? or are they all right with all their disagreements & relentless hate & debate with contradicting dogma?
or is your religion the right one but you just dont say it? if it is not the right one then why do you go to it?
does your church say stuff like god dam america instead of god bless america?
