    Board monitors, please explain........

"Newbie" - I suppose the are brand new posters.
"contributor" - after how many posts does a newbie become contributor
    "mentor" and "guru" ????

There were some changes added to the forum update but previously (in my memory serves me correctly) a member would recieve a title change in increments of 100 and 200 posts.

Well heck. I took a look in response to your post and I did loose my guru status with the forum update. I'm now only a mentor with 953 posts. I'm guessing I have to hit 1000 to get my guru status back. I haven't been as active on these boards lately. Mabey, I'll have to start responding to more posts in order to see if my status changes in 47 more posts.

I try to get on here every day as time permits but my status changed to mentor also - I was wondering what caused that but my "status" on here is not the reason I come on....

I usually get on daily as well. However, there are so many other's on this board who can aswer a question just as well as I can (if not better). So I usually don't take the time to answer unless I can shed a little more personalized light on things. For example I can say what happened in my situation. I just don't have quite as much time to answer questions in the past few months.
