Over the years I have found the best way to "cure a heartache" is adopt another bundle of joy and let them love you too..............

It really does help ease the pain, but you still never forget......

I could not agree with you more, but I know right now I am not ready. Butchie was such a special cat. He was my shadow, a mama's boy. Also, my other boy is a funny cat. I am not sure that he would accept another cat. When we adopted him, Butchie was already here so he accepted the "pecking order." But time has a way of healing and who knows, I may find that special bundle of joy.
