My wife and I recently obtained our TransUnion credit reports. To our shock we noticed that a very good/positive tradeline, our car loan, obtained in July 2007 was NOT reported/listed on that report.
We called the creditor - who swore up,down, sideways that they were reporting to all three CRAs on a monthly basis.
The creditor advised us to dispute "the absence" of this account.
A little history about this account and Transunion. Back in October we subsribed to True Credit, an "arn" of Transunion. At that time Transunion was showing this account. In November or December we both cancelled this monitoring service.
I have a hunch that these idiots are punishing us for cancelling their "precious" monitoring service, by deleting a very good, positive tradeline, and possibly deliberately lowering our credit scores.
