Holiday Bonuses?

Last year, mine went to the BK trustee.....this year will be paying off my charge card!!! Yeah!!!

Hehe. Last year, I threw it at my mountain of debt to no avail. This year, I'm spending it before I file in September. Stockpiling pampers, formula, groceries, getting dental work done, etc. BUT, I am taking a little bit aside first and treating my hubby to an awesome dinner for our 1 year anniversary next month!

Exact same situation here. Except it's my tax return the trustee got to keep last year and this year I get to use to pay off the cc. I feel bad that I have debts on my cards that need paid off, but it's nice the the return will completely pay them off.

Then it's time to make an appt. with the financial planner like hubby and I have talked about and change those withholdings and start investing that money myself instead of letting uncle sam keep it interest free all year. I need to call and schedule something for the end of January. (Work issues and instabilities have kept me from doing it this year).

Plus hubby's new job gets bonus' after the first of the year. We have no idea how much it will be be but are hoping for enough for a Wii.

Well, Dh is a federal employee. No bonus there. Just cuts in overtime. We also have PT newspaper Routes. I made out quite nice on tips from generous folks. Middle class folk tip well, the upper class ones dont tip except one. My best tips came from a retirement community. God bless em all. My kids will have a nice holiday this year after all. It would have still been nice w/o gifts though. We are all alive, well, and a firm family unit. What else can we ask for?
