We got hit by a big winter storm yesterday - now we have ice with about 1-2 inches of snow on top of the ice. Temps are in the low 20s tonight. More freezing rain is forecast for the next two days, then back to snow...ugh!! Ten days ago it was in the 60s!

Gotta love living in the dead center of the country. We get cold, cold winters and hot, hot summers. Don't like the weather today...just wait 'til tomorrow

I don't think I will ever understand why people choose to live their lives in states that mother nature can rip apart in minutes ??? I live in N.Virginia, and love the four seasons.

I'm pretty sure George Bush Jr has personally stopped the snow via global warming.

          Sarah,

          I think we'll have a white Christmas!

Pouring rain here - 65 degrees........ All the snow/ice is missing us by about 75 miles.....

Would love to have a "White Christmas"........... like before global warming..........

I love snow only when I don't have anywhere I need to go. It's pretty to look at - but what SUCKS big time about living here in the midwest is this...... infant/toddler car seats. One day it's hot and you don't need a jacket. Great wonderful day. The next day it's freezing and you have to get a thick coat on the little ones. That means re-adjusting the stupid car seats to "fit" properly - AGAIN. (okay, so that sounds really lazy of me...lol)

But- another thing is that my DH is a roofer. Yep, that means that snow and rain make us poor. But then again - sometimes it brings in more work for him after a big storm. Still, not what I'm wanting unless it's a "here today, gone tomorrow" type of thing.

Bring on the snow and rain! Request exludes Monday thru Friday. Not valid on travel holidays, nights out, or an special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or get-togethers. Other restrictions to request still may apply. *See Heather for details. LOL

Crapola. We got just 8 inches and now DH will not be working this week. I'm pretty sure that our Christmas shopping is now done.

                        It does look pretty, though.
