Why I like this forum!

YES! Plumbing, PT work, broken appliances, gas prices, we are your know all forum. Cuz most of us have been through a bunch. Do it yourselfers and find a cheap fix it-ers. Thats whats great for sure.

That type of behavior is actually very typical of internet forums! It's common practice for existing/senior members to "flame" "noobs" or new members for asking questions, that have historically and asked and asnswer numerous times, etc.

We definately make a concerted effort to keep this type of behavior non-existant here. Especially when you consider the sensative content of this forum. But again, as you've probably already seen for yourself here. We can't make everyone here happy. But all the Moderators/Adminstrators here are committed to keeping this spam, and flame free.

It's true. This is one of the nicest, most understanding, most helpful, caring, etc forum on that I've been to. Perhaps that is why I still pop in all the time despite being totally discharged a few months ago.

I'm with you guys. I think it's because we've all been through such a humbling experience, it really does change us..I know its helped me to be more compassionate. And so I think we show that to each other in the forums.

It is the best forum. I cruise a lot of the IT forums when I'm looking up stuff for work (I'm a computer programmer). I see so many people getting treated like they're stupid that I wouldn't even want to post a question. I've never seen any of you treat someone like that. This is the ONLY forum I post at and I still read for about 2 months before ever posting.

I do agree. This is like the only place that I know for sure, you can actually go & know it wont be a big waste of time reading & posting running through a bunch of arguing & fighting & nonsense.

I love this forum, alot of you have been through my crazy "can I keep the 4Runner" posts & put up with me way far! I appreciate that because I got the biggest "life" education here. There was only one person who really got on my case about some things I posted and my friends here online stood up to that person for me which made me feel really wanted here. Thank you!

As we reach the Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow I want to say Thank you so much to everyone here for answering my questions and allowing me to be me!
