Cindylynn,
You are allergic to tobacco smoke, thus asthma attacks....
Yes its very hard to avoid tobacco smoke on a daily basis if you work with the public.
I am "chemical sensitive" - which brings on asthma attacks....
EVERYONE loves their candles, Lysol cans, colognes, etc...
I can understand where your coming from. Its a constant "battle" daily at my office over the spray cans, candles, and amount of colognes these people use every day. Not counting the scented fabric softener, bath soaps, hair spray, etc that everyone uses these days.
By the time everyone gets ALL their STUFF on them, they really don't smell good anymore....... all of it together is overpowering and often stinks........
Good thing I have a private office, where I can close my door, turn on a vent system, and eliminate the odors...... if not, I would spend half my time at the hospital....
That's one reason why I say "respect my situtation, and I will respect yours"........
But many "chemically sensitive" people are shown no consideration at all........ everyone just sprays it in your face and tells you -WELL, I'm not going to stink, s I WILL wear my cologne, etc.....
I'm like you - inhalers only do so much..........
