PS; Glad to see this thread back on topic of 2008 Presidential Election!!!!
    it aint just this adminstration though this one is by far the worse, MomIcantFindmy. it is the whole shebang & kaboodle. I know we wont get one for quite awhile, leaving us in the same corrupt system as in;
the government and state regarded as exploiting, restricting, and repressing individuals
including their votes & who can win.

I sadly agree, it will be a repeat just like the last 60 years.

Ron Paul's official site had porn all over it. Yeah, so don't go to Congressman Ron Paul's site unless you are of legal age and like porn. And so as not to violate terms of service, I will not post his link. lol

And I tried to go to Jeff Rense's site.
When I try and get to rense.com, I get:

"Hmm, rense.com isn't loading right now.

The computers that run rense.com are having some trouble. Usually this is just a temporary problem, so you might want to try again in a few minutes."
So I read this at davidicke.com:

Obama Bloggers Claim They Crashed Rense.com

'Looks like we succeeded in getting Jeff Rense's Show as well as his entire radio network shut down permanently. Several of us have been working on this project for a few weeks now. The Bidens were most helpful. Buh, Bye, Jeff! That'll teach you to host a pig who is trying to fight The Mob. heh, heh'
Seems to be lots of hacking today, eh?

"There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit (debt) expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit (debt) expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved."

Voting. What a joke. Like voting makes a difference.

First off, we never get any really viable candidates for any office. Seriously, now - Obama and McCain are the best that America has to offer? The best?

I can think of any number of people within a 5-minute drive who would be more honest, honorable and thoughtful as President. Certainly, almost as experienced as Obama and qualified as McCain. I'll bet you can, too. So, how did we get saddled, yet again, with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum?

Seems like Americanus Boobus would notice that the game is rigged, but the vast majority of us never do. You can fool most of the people all of the time, it seems.

Like Charlie Brown every Fall, trusting Lucy to hold the football while he kicks it (she always pulls it back at the last possible moment, so that Charlie Brown falls in a heap from his vain effort), once again I put my support behind a candidate: Ron Paul. Once again, it was a total waste of time and money.

Yes, I believe that Ron Paul was the best of a fairly vapid field and, yes, I believe that Ron Paul would make a good President. In fact, I believed more than Ron Paul himself that we could make him the President. Of course, neither the Powers That Be (PTB) nor the Main-Stream Media (MSM) would allow it. You saw how he was marginalized and neutralized at every turn. It didn't help that he turned out to be a one-note Johnny (albeit the correct note). Nor did his inarticulate responses to so many "debate" questions and challenges help. Nor did his shifty-eyed demeanor and squeaky voice reassure us. Pity.

        We Deserved to Win

I encouraged others to support Ron Paul and the response was magnificent. Thank you. I felt I had to make one, last try at working within the system to save America. I feared it was foredoomed, just as did Ron Paul from Day 1, but we had to try, just like good ol' trusting Charlie Brown. We deserved to win. We deserved to win and that counts for something, doesn't it?

However, we have learned that, in the immortal words of Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven, as he stared down the barrel of his rifle at the crooked sheriff, prostrate on the saloon floor and protesting that he didn't deserve to die: "Deserve's got nothin' to do with it."

To Ron Paul, to whom my family contributed hundreds of dollars we could ill afford to spare, I say: I want a refund. We gave you that money to campaign and challenge illegal vote tampering. Despite manifest rigging in the very first primary (New Hampshire), you chose not to raise a legal challenge - you chose to "take the high road." Time and again, you have ignored patently illegal rigging and tampering. We've all seen how that approach has worked out for you.

You didn't even spend all the money we gave you in campaigning, but held back millions of dollars that you still hold, preferring to spend it on some sort of splinter effort to "influence the outcome." True winners influence the outcome by winning. We contributed to help you win, not simply to influence the outcome.

        Too McPainful

Having rapped both Obama and Hillary, I suppose that soon I must do a piece about the traitorous McCain, the third liberal running for President this year. Not today, though. It's just too much pain to contemplate McCain's shortcomings so close to Independence Day.

The biggest problem McCain confronts is the guy sitting in the Oval Office right now - the guy with the worst public-approval ratings in history (worse than Nixon, even). McCain's a Republican, too, and obviously the second coming of George W. Bush.

Just as the Republicans got thrown out of Congress at the last mid-term election (for all the good that did us), I expect them to be thrown out of the Executive Branch at the upcoming election. If we're lucky, the Democrats might get thrown out of Congress, too, not that it really matters. The real problem with America's two-party system is that both can't ever seem to lose.

        The Lesser of Two Evils

Yet again, I hear many tuning up to vote for whomever they perceive to be "the lesser of two evils," as though that is some sort of conscientious and informed method of selection. They're both evil, you morons! If Bush the lesser taught us anything, it is what a crapshoot that sort of thinking can produce.

Yet, here they go again - voting against Obama because of his anti-gun stance or hyper-liberal bias or, incredibly enough, due to his skin color, the very least intelligent criterion upon which to evaluate a member of another race or voting against McCain because he wants us to stay in Iraq, shredding our children for another hundred years, needs be.

Yes, there are third parties, notable among them the Constitution Party and the Libertarian Party. Do you even know who their nominees are? I didn't think so. So much for third parties.

        Vote Yes on No

That leaves us with choosing between voting selectively and not voting altogether. We should vote, if for no other reason than to be able to go into that polling booth and vote against every, single incumbent in every, single office on the ballot except President, perhaps. Write in Mickey Mouse or Madonna? Don't give them an excuse to invalidate your entire ballot. Simply don't vote for President. Vote against all incumbents. Vote against all propositions. Vote a resounding No on everything this year. Everything except President, of course. To the Presidency, offer only your refusal to play along.

Depression II and World War III are coming. In fact, I believe that history will record that both already have begun.

In addition to the coming unpleasantry of war and economic apocalypse, add the likelihood of global disease pandemics, both natural and man-made, which will result in the globalists' desired population reduction. I foresee a 20-80% population decline throughout, concentrated primarily in the poorer sections of the World.

I see things ramping up ever-more-quickly from here, with things reaching a fever pitch no later than 2012. In fact, it could all be over rather quickly if global thermonuclear war develops, as I think likely, but with a mop-up period of abject misery that lasts for generations.

        What We Can Do

        Nothing.

Elections are useless in America to effect local, state or national change, as now proven. If you must vote, vote against all incumbents, right down the line ... including Dr. Paul (if he didn't have that congressional slot to which to return, he might have proven more adventurous). The international cake already is in the oven and will explode no matter what we do. The dollar is doomed and there is absolutely nothing that anybody can do about it.

Violence? Much as I would love to say, "Go get 'em and bring me their heads on pikes," truly there is only one answer that I can give: Absolutely not. Anything else, of course, would get me arrested. Besides, it still is too early. Violent and/or illegal acts done now simply would serve to delay the time when the average American will be willing to throw his or her lot in with ours.

Get yourself out of the cities and into the country, in a region that will be safe from whatever about which you might be paranoid.

I am paranoid about police-state action, financial devastation, infrastructure breakdown, nuclear strikes, nuclear fallout, racial strife, earthquakes, volcanoes, tidal waves and hurricanes, not necessarily in that order. That is why I live in North Idaho, one of the very few areas in America likely to be free from (the initial effects, at least, of) nuclear fallout, in the country with a well and a little acreage on which we grow livestock and could grow modest crops.

Next, arm yourself well, with plenty of reserves of ammunition, to protect yourself and your family. Bury some of your guns as gun confiscation is coming.

Next, put up substantial stores of basic foodstuffs, enough to get your family by for a year, ideally.

Finally, protect yourself financially, if you are fortunate enough to have any money left over from the real priority items. Get out of all dollar-denominated assets and into something designed to weather the coming financial storm (which already is in progress).

Cultivate like-minded friends, but avoid those who advocate violence or who might seem a bubble or two off center. Don't worry about federal agents. They are everywhere. Live your life right out in the open, keep your head down and do nothing illegal and you likely will avoid their wrath, if not their pettiness.

That picture of Smush & Mcrap is gross & all along I thought Mcrap was against the facist president.., & now they love each other. So, should we all go give him a big juicy loving hug & worship his feet?

BUsh the lesser evil?...that is what they thought when they voted, though we all know he did NOT win & his brother gave it to him regardless of your vote.

isn't that what we have been saying for many years now? iT does not work to think & vote like that because they are in cahoots together.

Bush, McCain & Obama To Visit Bohemian Grove?
                  by Paul Joseph Watson

Outgoing President George W. Bush and both of his presumptive replacements John McCain and Barack Obama are rumored to be in attendance at this year’s Bohemian Grove gathering, an annual get-together of the global elite staged inside a sprawling forest encampment which kicks off tonight and runs until July 27.

Bohemian Grove is a 136-year-old all-male encampment complete with restaurants, bars, stages and lodges, which caters to around 2,000 members of the global elite along with Californian hoi polloi on a yearly basis in July. The camp is set within a 2,700 acre secluded forest replete with giant redwood trees.

Former attendees include Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, who both went on to become President, as well as regulars like Henry Kissinger, Alan Greenspan, David Rockefeller, Colin Powell, as well as George W. Bush and his father.

In 2000 radio host and film maker Alex Jones infiltrated the gathering and caught exclusive video footage of a bizarre mock human sacrifice ritual, known as “the cremation of care”, under a 40 foot stone owl that the members refer to as Molech.

Attendees dress up like Klan members in hooded robes and perform druidic pagan ceremonies to mark the spectacular finale of the event.

In 2004, The New York Post reported that top gay porn star Chad Savage was hired by the Grove to “service” its members during the event and “attend to their every need”.

“When they’re not listening to policy speeches, “Bohos” are known to urinate freely in the redwoods and perform mock-druidic rituals that revolve around a 40-foot-tall stone owl. In one ritual, called “Cremation of Care,” members wearing red-hooded robes cremate a coffin effigy of “Dull Care” at the base of the owl altar,” the report stated.

Alex Jones discusses the shocking footage he obtained during his 2000 infiltration of the Grove.

Homosexual orgies are known to be part of the festivities enjoyed by the predominately “Christian conservative” leaders who go there. Former attendee Richard Nixon once referred to the Grove as, “the most f**** g******* thing you could ever imagine.”

A reader who got a summer job working at the Grove in 2005, Chris Jones, told us that he was regularly propositioned for [adult relations] by the old men attending the encampment and asked if he “slept around” and wanted to have some fun.

Jones was later sentenced to three years in jail by California authorities for simply showing a tape of his visit to minors.

However, the media’s attitude to hundreds of powerbrokers attending an event at which the Manhattan Project was known to have been born, while frolicking around dressed up as women [uriniating] up trees and having [adult relations], has been sophomoric to say the least.

One such hit piece in the Sacramento News & Review, which ties the Grove as well as public organizations such as the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission with shape-shifting reptoid conspiracies, is useful for only one piece of information - the claim that Presidential hopeful John McCain may be attending this year’s gathering.

George W. Bush and his father give a lakeside talk at Bohemian Grove in this photo from the Grove’s annual yearbook.

In addition, according to an Arizona Daily Star report about a different subject, President Bush’s schedule for next week has not been released, meaning Bush, a regular attendee with his father to Bohemian Grove in past years, could be set to make a visit at some point to mark the last year of his presidency.

Tellingly, both McCain and Democratic candidate Barack Obama will be in California from Saturday to Tuesday, during which time both candidates are scheduled to speak at the National Council of La Raza, a racist Mexican separatist group that advocates a violent overthrow of the southwestern U.S. states.

Their schedule puts them in the perfect location to enjoy a night at the Grove this weekend.

Two years ago we were able to accurately surmise then British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s visit to the Grove, which coincided with a visit to San Francisco where he met with powerbrokers.

Thus far, there has only been one other mainstream report concerning the event, an article entitled Power brokers due at Bohemian Grove, appearing in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, a local paper that routinely covers the gathering.

“Critics, who until recent years mounted protests outside its gates, say the gatherings serve as strategy sessions for a New World Order operating outside democratic institutions,” states the article.

“Most critics raise the specter of national policy with global implications coming from behind the gates of an exclusive, closed-door gathering of largely conservative, wealthy white men.”

Obama's 'Big Brother' vanishes from speech
'Civilian security force' excised from 'call to service' transcript

                        Excerpt:

The stunning assertion from Democrat Sen. Barack Obama that the U.S. needs a "civilian national security force" that would be as powerful, strong and well-funded as the half-trillion dollar Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force has mysteriously disappeared from published transcripts of a recent speech.

In the July 2 speech in Colorado Springs, Obama insisted the U.S. "cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set."

Campaign officials have declined to return any of a series of WND telephone calls over several days requesting comment. Nor have they posted a transcript of the speech on their website.

But transcripts posted at both the Wall Street Journal and Denver Post do not include the lines.

                        The transcripts include the following:
We'll send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people. We'll call on Americans to join an Energy Corps to conduct renewable energy and environmental cleanup projects in their neighborhoods. We'll enlist veterans to help other vets find jobs and support, and to be there for our military families. And we'll also grow our Foreign Service, open consulates that have been shuttered, and double the size of the Peace Corps by 2011 to renew our diplomacy.

And we'll use technology to connect people to service. We'll expand USA Freedom Corps to create an online network where Americans can browse opportunities to volunteer. You'll be able to search by category, time commitment, and skill sets; you'll be able to rate service opportunities, build service networks, and create your own service pages to track your hours and activities. This will empower more Americans to craft their own service agenda, and make their own change from the bottom up.

It was at that point in the speech, at about 16 minutes on a YouTube video, Obama says:

"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

Joseph Farah, founder and editor of WND, used his daily column first to raise the issue, and then to elevate it with a call to all reporters to start asking questions about it.

"If we're going to create some kind of national police force as big, powerful and well-funded as our combined U.S. military forces, isn't this rather a big deal?" Farah wrote

The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama, of Illinois, quickly criticized Mr. Bush's move. "If offshore drilling would provide short-term relief at the pump or a long-term strategy for energy independence, it would be worthy of our consideration, regardless of the risks. But most experts, even within the Bush Administration, concede it would do neither," said Obama spokesman Bill Burton.

"It would merely prolong the failed energy policies we have seen from Washington for thirty years. Senator Obama believes Americans need real short-term relief, which is why he has proposed a second round of stimulus with energy rebates for working families," Mr. Burton said.
Bush will end executive ban on offshore drilling

Wait a minute! Obama can fix the economy with more rebate checks?

You're vote would be put in the trash can. Contrary to popular belief you can't just write in anyone's name for any office and get it to count. They have to be recognized as a write in candidate by the state you are voting in, usually a tedious process though less tedious than getting on the ballot itself.

If she were to run, though I do not agree with much she's done in life, she'd probably beat McCain and Obama assuming she could get enough of her supporters to vote.
