My mom had a $250 water bill a few months ago. Normally, because of the pool, sewer, taxes, it's around $90. We called plumber (tested the toilets first with food coloring pills in the tanks= nothing), and it turned out that there was water leaking out the gutter from a pipe up on the roof where her solar panels were (and she doesn't even make use of those)...

That's how fast a leak runs & it will jack up the bill extremely fast.

Like Minny said, toilet leaks will get ya too.

So, this probably was in the ballpark. She had her meter read as well & it checked out.

Discharged November 2008 100 days after filing no-asset Chapter 7. We intended to let a two-year-old vehicle go back to the bank and reaffirm an inexpensive ten-year-old SUV and our home mortgage. In the end we surrendered ALL of our vehicles and reaffirmed NOTHING. We'll "ride through" our mortgage after the court ruled it an undue hardship.

        Keebler,

THAT CAT could really make a water bill go up fast.........lol.....

I showed it to everyone in the office (we're on a water shortage in our District right now)...... boss laughed his head off.....but it sure was wasting much needed water.......

        SO CUTE............

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
