A case of the Mondays ...

Looks like I have it. It is 2:26pm and I STILL have not really gotten started. Oi.

And get this... we have an internal website that does out of office requests, training schedules, etc. for which I am the programmer. It is called... TPS.

Yes. It is THE Office Space reference.

And yes.. we have TPS reports. (I work with a great bunch of folks. ) At anyrate, I just cannot seem to get started today. Oi. Can I go to bed yet?

The fact that I am at work and reading this board should be evidence that I'm not moving very quickly today. I had a funeral to go to this morning and we worked so hard last week to get a grant application off today. And all together I know what I should be doing, but I'm not doing it right now.

      Sigh.

Younger folks might not remember the song by the Mamas and Papas "Monday, Monday, you're good to me...........................".
Don't remember the rest of the song. Don't know what obsessed that rock group to sing that song. Some oldies radio station played it this morning

Thanks for your condolance but I actually had only met the person the funeral was for once or twice. I know her husband as he used to be a co-worker of mine.
But it was hard. She was only 32 and she had two kids ages 7 and 4. It hit a little too close to home as I am 30 and have two kids age 4 years and 18 months.
Her husband seemed to appreciate that I came so I'm glad I went.
