My two "girls" would put the fear of God in someone if they tried to break in on me. They are my security blanket and nite watchmen. I could go to sleep, leave my doors and windows open (if I wanted too) and fear nothing.....
Even neighbors that know them well cannot approach the back yard if I'm not home. They are "ON GUARD".....LOL
One of my roomies locked hisself out, thought he'd climb the fence and go thru the back door - NOPE - NOT WITH THE GIRLS - ON GUARD!!!! Scared the "fire" outta him and he lives there...... He was sitting on the front porch when I got home...
He said I tried to climb he fence and.............then I started laughing my A*** off......... I told him "what happened, I find you sitting here???
He said "I might live in the same house with them...... but they weren't going to let me climb that fence and get in.....
Dogs are good to have, any animal is, they'll let you know when someone is around, of if someone has been there while your gone.....
GUARD DUTY.....................RULES........... and if Guard Duty doesn't work "smith and wesson" does............
Minny
"It's amazing the paths that our feet sometimes follow in life".
My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

My minpins bark like crazy if someone is by the house. One time a few years ago, someone broke into my dad's van (I was borrowing it) and I found it had a screwdriver wedged in the keyhole. I looked to make sure nothing was missing and only thing I found was they took a leftover burrito from taco bell (left in there for a day). I thought it was odd that they would STEAL my left over food garbage... and I thought they must have been pretty desperate.
I couldn't figure out why my dogs didn't bark like crazy to alert us. (they bark at leaves!) Then, I figured it out a few days later when I found the Taco Bell bag in my back yard. The crooks didn't eat my old food, they threw it over the fence to keep my dogs quiet. Grrr.
