    Stupid things that excite me

Magic Erasers...1st time I bought them, I used them on everything I could think of. What a wonderful product.

Coupons for things I actually buy. I have looking thru papers and not finding coupons for things I need and use.... most are a bunch of brand name crap and even with the coupon, it's still more expensive than generic.

Containers - they're my weakness. Husband has to keep me away from the tupperware isle in the store. I have a habit of buying them so I can put *stuff* in them. My last purchase was a 3 drawer small container (I use for batteries, paperclips, pens, and small not pads) Which brings me to the next one....

Pens - especially when I get one free and it writes the way I like (hate the ball point or gel pens)

When my son lets me play his nintendo DS.

All of these things have been known to make me to a "happy dance". LOL

Roller Coasters of all shapes, speeds and sizes make me do a happy dance and get my belly stirred and excited in a good way. It is one of those things that I never get tired of doing, at times like a 'need', especially when riding with a partner who feels the same way or someone who has never been on one.

But there is more to it than just the thriilseeker that I am for myself.

I like to watch their knucles turn white while they hold on tight or throw their arms in the air through the entire track, laughing during the air time and the bunny hills at the end. Of course the racers are some of the best for repeated performance. It really is very stupid at my age, but so much fun to see the children laughing and talk with other adults about the good memories of coasters that have gone by over the years.
I also enjoy watching the smiling faces while they wait, climb the first hill, during the ride and after the ride. Then feel and share the anxious spirit to do it all again.

The first thing I asked my Doctor after waking from anesthesia, was, "Will I be able to ride roller coasters this year?" He started laughing and said, "Yes".

Labels - first time I got my hands on a label maker, whoa I was labeling EVERYTHING! and Post it notes, expecially the "vibrant" colors. And, kitchen gadgets. And...
Am I crazy or what, this is probably part of what got me here in the first place.

oooo. I like mail, too. I can usually hear the mail lady when she drops it off on my doorstep and I will peek out the window and when she's gone, I HAVE to go get it. I can't just let it sit there. Drives me nuts. LOL

Me Too so funny!! I also love being right LOL
Sometimes life make you deal with ugly and hateful people ,just think of them as sand paper. They may scratch you and rub you the wrong way but eventually you end up smooth and polished and the sand paper becomes old and worn out.

Well this isn't a "stupid" thing, but BOOKS excite me! I'm an avid reader and go to the library to pick up books almost weekly. I come home with armloads, and I am giddy like a kid in a candy store. All I can think about is my own little private pleasure, laying in bed with a good book, forgetting the worries of the day.

Oh and cooking........LOVE it....love trying out new recipes.

hee hee. I have not laughed so hard in a long time.

you could get AM & PM delivery. Go out there checking the mailbox no more than 10 times a day. I keep picturing all the blue US Post Office mailboxes with little Snoopys and getting excited everytime we walk by one!

Helloooo down there, Is there any mail inside for me

Uh Oh. One of those people taking pics all the time. Could you at least wait til I wake up a little before flashing that thing.

Do you remember those old 110 & 120 cameras that you put a cube on the top and it gives you four flashes then you have to change the cube?

I remember those label guns when I was a kid. I wanted one for Christmas and got one. Then made labels with my name on it and stuck them to everything that was mine.

Actually I love to shoot without a flash from a distance away using a telephoto lens - gives a much more natural result. I like to shoot architecture and landscapes more than people...I've always felt it's so invasive to push a camera in peoples' faces and start snapping without asking their permission first.

Sure do! I also remember when the first cameras came out that loaded a roll of film with one drop-in cartridge in the back instead of having to wind the film in manually - magic!!

MY first camera was a Polaroid Swinger, black and white only.

Speaking of black and white, my granddaughter actually thinks that when I was a kid, the whole world was black and white or shades thereof. The grass wasn't green, the sky wasn't blue, it was all shades of black and white.
I used to have a life, now I have grandkids.
