I have one more question if you do not mind, AMISLANDER. When you were starting to chew again, did it feel the same, different or were you not sure?

The reason I ask is because I cannot tell if it is lined up on one side when I grit my teeth together. There are two different postitions when my jaw closes. Both positions feel right and they both feel wrong. (probably just minor adjustments-my jaw did break half an inch) I think it is because there are teeth missing that it feels funny.
I cannot wait to get to the Dentist. My teeth are still black and stained from when I could not brush them. Did your teeth get stained from the juices and ensure drinks while not able to brush?
When I started to chew, it was totally different than before...like before didn't even exist.

I do still have two positions that I can bite/close in...but for all my chewing, I go with the one that's most comfortable to my teeth.

When those molds are going in for the missing teeth, do the bite molds with your comfortable position. Your bite will and usually does shift a bit anyhow.

The black teeth? Hmmm...no, I did not have that issue. I used listerine rinse like 4-5x a day in the very beginning and I did start brushing maybe like a month later...

I'm not a big juice drinker, it was just ensure for me.

Have you spoken to your dentist about the black color? Never heard of that....

I am just discovering the two positions. The teeth kind of slide a little instead of just chomping. I think I simply took for granted the function of jaw and chewing all these years and now I know how important this is.

I am noticing that shifting. It seems to change when you would attempt to bite into something as well as when you chew. i am not actually chewing anything, just practing what it should feel like if I were.

Yes, my bottom teeth are blackish gray and were pitch black the day the first wires came off. It is aweful looking. I got some of it off with baking soda.

I saw my Doctor this morning & they said I wont be able to see the Dentist for anything for about another month. My dentist was the first to see the accident and sent me to the specialtist right away. The day I was supposed to get my teeth cleaned was they day they cut me open & wired it all shut. Some cleaning that was. I now have black teeth and don't want to do the wrong thing to get them white on my own. ROFL!! My co workers are laughing at my black teeth and teasing me about it.
I should just go for dentures all the way and be done with it but my dentist is not going to do that. I need patience and time is all.
