    Its Finally Over.."case Closed".....

    Don't get excited, but it finally says 'CASE CLOSED' on my Chapter 7.........

    Hopefully I am THRU dealing with all of these ******* who have kept my case open for over 3 years..... and I can get on with living my life without looking over my shoulder all the time.....

    To all of you on the forum who have "helped" me thru these past 3 years, THANKS for all the moral support and wisdom you have offered. I couldn't have made it thru all this without you.....

    Filing bankruptcy at the time I did was the best thing I have probably ever done, BUT at the time I sure need more information about bankruptcy, needed to research what COULD HAPPEN, and should have paid more attention to the "red flags" concerning my attorney I hired, instead of believing everything he said. HOPEFULLY, I WILL NEVER WALK THIS PATH AGAIN.
    Hopefully, any suggestions or mental comfort I can offer anyone here on this forum will help prevent happening to them what happened to me....... I wouldn't want to wish the past 3 years off on anyone else.

    For those of you thinking of filing, DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST........... get all your ducks in the RIGHT ROW, and listen to what all these forum members tell you to check, list, and what to watch for.

    Do not totally depend on your attorney to do the "right thing"...... or to work in your best interest......... some only "cover their own butt" when something goes wrong......

    RESEARCH, RESEARCH, AND ASK QUESTIONS..........theirs where the KNOWLEDGE IS.....

    Congratulations Minny, it's been a long time coming. Hopefully you are indeed done with all the crap you have had to deal with. You are a trooper that's for sure.

        I'M A REAL 'HAPPPY CAMPER', RIGHT NOW!!!!



        And even after all I have been thru the last 3 years, my credit score is back up to 720................all because of the "good credit" I maintained before I filed bankruptcy and when I did file, I didn't have any lates, collections, etc....

        So, there is life after bankruptcy, and I'm back among the "LIVING".....

                    So glad to see that your credit has recovered over the last 3 years and you have survived not only financially but emotionally and spiritually as well. This could well have broken someone else who didn't have your grit and ability to bounce back and keep going forward - you've been an inspiration and support for hundreds of us here, Minny. We're all so lucky to have you!

                    Now that your case is closed and after you savor the joy you so well deserve....when are you going after that horrible trustee of yours???

                          I saw the post but can't find the words so I just haven't responded. There just is not a suitable word for the situation. Wow, I am really happy for you.

                          What if anything will the Trustee answer for? This was abuse of an Office, this went to the letter and not the spirit of the law. when the Trustee pummeled you did those to whom you owed see a dime? I hope that life will repay the person who did this, you were caring for a parent. I would do anything necessary to save my family member, and well i should.

                          Do they just run roughshod over a person in your situation? The old Hillary Clinton (pre-senator) favored some allowances for such problems and even took Billy to task on reform. Maybe we do need to let a woman take the reigns for a time. Alot of family issues would be addressed.

                            My politics are left-leaning, but I'm having a hard time overlooking that First Lady Hillary said publicly in 2004 that bankruptcy filers file primarily for legitimate reasons they can't control, not fraud, but then a year later Senator Hillary voted for BAPCPA. Politics these days is all about getting re-elected or trading favors. It's not about doing what is best for your constituency back home any more.
